This photograph was taken onboard the SS Arakaka which was sunk with the
loss of all hands during the second World War whilst serving under the
admiralty. The three officers in the foreground are: L-R: One of the
three Radio Officers, probably 2nd Officer, Alex Jack 3rd Officer. The two
RAFVR in the background are: L-R:
Corporal
Richard Henry Roland Wrighton and Squadron Leader Sidney Portass who
were both serving with the RAFVR. To
